Orlando, Florida (AP) A hotel chain has agreed to offer free travel tips on vacation for people living in Orlando during the summer months.
The Orlando Magic’s luxury hotel chain said Friday it is expanding its online travel program that includes information about job opportunities, restaurants and activities, among other things.
The program is part of the company’s $7.9 billion purchase of the Magic.
The new program, called the Magic Traveler, will be rolled out nationwide in 2018.
The new program will include more than 1,000 locations, including resorts, restaurants, museums, attractions and shopping malls, Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer said in a statement.
The company is working with local governments to help create a virtual experience for people to find and connect with job opportunities in Orlando.
The initiative will begin as soon as 2018.
The goal is to reach as many people as possible during the time they’re in town, Dyer added.
