Posted September 24, 2018 09:20:07 The Dubai Hotels Group, which runs hotels and resorts across the emirates, said it would be opening “netflix” movies in its hotels starting September 24.
Dubai Hotels group has partnered with Netflix, which will stream some of its movies on its streaming service and its own YouTube channel.
The group, which also owns the world’s largest hotel chain, Dubai Hotel & Resorts, said its first movie, “The Jungle Book,” will be available for streaming on Netflix starting on September 24 in the United Arab Emirates.
Netflix will also stream the film on its website, but the film will be “available in cinemas and digital stores in the UAE, Canada, the United Kingdom and Australia only.”
Netflix’s content will not be available on any of its own streaming services.
The company also has agreements with local media and the Dubai Tourism Authority, which owns the resort chain.
Netflix has a number of exclusives with Dubai Hot hotels and other Dubai resorts, including the films “The Secret Life of Pets” and “Killing Them Softly.”
In addition, Netflix will stream movies from “Sonic Mania,” “The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies” and the upcoming “Dolphin Tale.”
